Steven is an executive leader with 10+ years of experience building and leading high-performing teams across PropTech and private equity. He grew up in Missouri, lives in Mesa, Arizona with his wife and six kids, and believes the most important leadership happens at home before it ever shows up at work.
Before founding Beyond Just Leadership, Steven led operations and teams inside high-growth companies, navigating the full complexity of scaling people alongside scaling businesses. He knows firsthand what it costs to promote a great performer into management without giving them the tools to actually lead — and he built this to fix it.
His leadership philosophy starts with a principle passed down from his father: it starts from within. The PATC framework is that principle, made into a practice.
